New specimens!

In the past week we have collected a lot of new amazing specimens from Missouri, Morocco & Brazil!!

chalcopyrite on dolomite matrixSome amazing pieces coming out of the Sweetwater mine in Missouri! Including Chalcopyrite, Calcite, and Galena pyrite and more!! They are unbelievably colorful and hold a really high vibration!

We also have our tall Selenite towers back and now we have the lights to go with them! They are perfect for the house as they help to build a protective grid, give off amazing energy and are so beautiful!

We also have more Brazillian Tourmaline, Amethyst and Moroccan Fossils! Come check us out this weekend!

Ammonites and the Fibonacci Sequence

What is the Fibonacci Sequence? Fibonacci sequence is a list of numbers where every number is the sum of the previous two. The Fibonacci sequence starts at 1 and grows infinitely: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 …Fibonacci

How does it relate to Ammonites?Ammonite shells are a naturally occurring example of the Fibonacci sequence. If you draw a quarter circle in each Fibonacci square, they connect to form an ever increasing spiral. Try to find the Fibonacci squares in your ammonite fossils – photocopy the fossil, then start at the very center by drawing two small boxes right next to each other. With most fossils, the first boxes are .25 cm by .25 cm. Continue drawing boxes with Fibonacci dimensions. You’ll notice that the spiral of the shell always falls within the Fibonacci squares.

We got to enjoy the company of our family on the beautiful outer banks of North Carolina this past week! Nothing like family beach time :] We hope you’ve been jumping in the waves with a and a sun kissed nose this summer too!
